How I Grew Budgetocity Using SEO and Conversion Design
Strategic organic growth and UX optimization that moved the needle for a budget-planning SaaS.
The Challenge
Traffic was flat. Sign-ups weren't converting.
Budgetocity had a solid product for budget-conscious consumers and small businesses, but organic visibility was limited and the sign-up flow had too much friction. We needed to grow qualified traffic and improve conversion without a major product overhaul.
Goals: increase organic sessions, improve rankings for high-intent keywords, and lift free-trial conversion through clearer value proposition and streamlined UX.
The Approach
SEO: Owning the "budget" space
We ran a full content and technical audit, then built a topical cluster around budget planning, savings tools, and comparison content. On-page optimization and internal linking tied it all together so Budgetocity could rank for both informational and commercial-intent queries.
Replace with real screenshot of rankings, GSC, or content hub.
Conversion Design: Less friction, clearer value
We redesigned the landing and sign-up flow: clearer headlines, social proof above the fold, and a simplified form. A/B tests on CTA copy and layout led to a new default that we then rolled out site-wide.
Replace with before/after or key screen captures.
